Carier Consult is operated by Tetiana Khoroshko, an individual based in Bulgaria (the "data controller" under GDPR). For any privacy question or request, contact tanicat.digital@gmail.com.

This app is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to use Carier Consult. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

We collect only what you provide and what is needed to deliver the service:

• Account data: email address used to sign up
• Profile data: your name, current role, experience level, region
• CV text: the text of your uploaded CV (never stored as a file, only as plain text)
• Skills and certifications: extracted from your CV or added manually
• Career goals: preferences you set in the app
• Roadmap progress: which steps you have completed

We do not collect device identifiers, location, contacts, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Carier Consult service, under the following legal bases (GDPR Art. 6):

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — generating personalised career roadmaps via AI, analysing skill gaps against target roles, running level assessments, generating and improving your CV, and tracking your roadmap progress. These all happen because you asked for them inside the app.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping your account secure, preventing abuse, and fixing bugs. We only do this to the extent necessary to run the service.

We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the services listed below. We don't currently send marketing emails; if that ever changes, we'll ask for your separate consent first.

We use two external services (data processors) to operate the app, each bound by a data processing agreement that requires them to use your data only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately:

• Supabase — stores your profile, roadmaps, and progress in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU. Supabase Privacy Policy →
• Anthropic Claude — processes your profile and CV to generate roadmaps, assessments, and CVs. Your data is sent to Anthropic's API only at the moment a feature is triggered. Anthropic is based in the United States; this transfer is covered by Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum, which incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a safeguard. No other third parties have access to your data.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If your account has been inactive for 24 months, we delete it, unless we're required by law to keep certain records longer.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings screen in the app. This permanently removes all your data from our systems — your profile, roadmaps, CV, and progress — within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

You can also contact us at tanicat.digital@gmail.com to request data export or deletion.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data (see above)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Export your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email tanicat.digital@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД), or your own country's equivalent authority if you're elsewhere in the EU.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your account is protected by Supabase Auth with email verification. CV text is stored encrypted at rest. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase's secure auth infrastructure.

By creating an account or using Carier Consult (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is operated by Tetiana Khoroshko, an individual based in Bulgaria ("we", "us"). If you don't agree, don't use the App.

Carier Consult provides AI-generated career guidance: skill gap analysis, career roadmaps, skill and level assessments, market/salary benchmarking, scenario comparison, and CV generation, based on information you provide (your CV, profile, and career goals).

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at tanicat.digital@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Carier Consult offers a free tier and a paid PRO subscription (monthly ≈ €14.99, or annual ≈ €99 — exact price shown at purchase in your local currency).
• New subscribers get a 2-week free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the plan you selected, and the subscription will then renew automatically.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (trial or paid).
• Manage or cancel your subscription — including cancelling during the free trial to avoid being charged — anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings, not inside the App.
• No refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law. Refunds for App Store/Play Store purchases are handled by Apple/Google under their own policies.
• Prices may change; we'll notify you before any change takes effect for your next billing cycle.

You retain all rights to the CV, profile information, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the App's features — see our Privacy Policy for how it's processed, including by Anthropic Claude for AI generation.

Roadmaps, skill assessments, salary estimates, scenario comparisons, and generated CVs are produced by AI and are suggestions, not professional career, financial, or legal advice. We don't guarantee job outcomes, salary accuracy, or that any roadmap will achieve your goals. Always use your own judgment and verify important decisions independently.

Don't: use the App for unlawful purposes; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App; upload content that infringes others' rights or is abusive, fraudulent, or misleading; use the App to impersonate someone else.

The App, its design, and underlying software are our property (or licensed to us) and protected by copyright. Except for Your Content, nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

The App relies on Supabase and Anthropic to operate. Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled by these providers.

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including career or financial decisions made based on its output.

You can delete your account anytime in Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
